I wish I found this vet many years earlier. He was so wonderful! When he came out to put my sick & very old sweet doggy 'down' last year in the back of our jeep, he and his staff were very sympathetic and showed lots of lovin' on my poor doggy, and he explained what was going to happen and how quick it would be. Then he stayed and made sure my dog was 'out' and tucked her all up. We were very concerned because a previous Austintown/Youngstown vet put our other old, very VERY sick dog down 2 years before and came out to our vehicle THREE (3) TIMES to give it DEATH SHOTS!!! The third time he had to stab my 14 year old SICK dog into the heart with that needle! It was excruciating to witness! People at work told me that a good vet puts down a horse with one needle stick and it takes only seconds. I loved Dr. Allen and I hope he becomes President some day!
