We recently had a terrible experience with Lefler Energy. We were not told ahead of time about the $129 diagnostic fee which we were charged after the technician spent 30 seconds in our attic looking at our ac unit. He said it was too hot up there and our motor was broken. We were unsure of how the motor was broken if it worked when we turned it off last fall. My husband called to complain about the service and the diagnostic fee. He asked for an appointment for the ac to be fixed. When the customer service rep called him to confirm, she told him he was a c.o.d. customer. He asked why he would be expected to pay over $500 in cash. She told him it must have to do with our credit. He explained that we have excellent credit. I am sure it had to do with the fact that he complained about the diagnostic fee. Last Friday a different tech came out and replaced the motor. Guess what, it still didn't work. Here it was an electrical board that may have been struck by lightning. He said he wasn't more
