I have been going to Tony’s for the last 10 years. He is fast, inexpensive and very professional. My wife likes him because he is not creepy with the ladies like a certain Galleria alterations place.
He does a great job of thinking ahead when he does his work. For example when taking in a pair of pants in he leaves fabric inside in case you ever have to let them out again. He does the same with pant/jean legs in case a pair of ever shrink in the wash. He always asks if yo have washed jeans before you alter them letting you know they will shrink.
A great thing is that he is honest. He will turn down taking in a suit simply because he says you won’t notice a difference or he likes the way it looks. Not many people will do that.
Only con is he has limits. If you get suit sleeves taken in he doesn’t have the equipment to redo the eye holes on the sleeves. But I have heard most alterations places don’t. He simply removes all of the thread work and reattaches the buttons which I am fine with.
Pros: price, location, speed, HONESTY
Cons: hours, some limitations
