My New Favorite Steakhouse! 6/29/2010

I am normally not the type of guy to put reviews on websites like this but I had to write something about my AMAZING experience at this wonderful restaurant. I was looking for a good steak that i could find some where besides the usual Wildfire, or Morton's. I found Chicago Prime on here and decided to try it out. I brought my girlfriend who shares my passion for a great steak and is also a new fan of this restaurant. The ambience is very classy and there is a wonderful wall with the Chicago Skyline lit up nicely in the main dining room. The service was excellent, our server was not snobby or too up tight, but still very professional and kept us laughing and happy when he came around. I ordered the Rib-Eye, medium rare, and it was cooked just as promised. Each bite was worth the price of admission. Also, there is quite a large wine selection to choose from, that is very affordable, or for the Hot-Shots, very pricey. We were suggested a delicious Zinfandel, and it went perfectly with our meal. One thing to watch out for is ordering the sides. If you are really hungry you will want to be aware that the sides are good for two or three people so you might want to plan on sharing with who ever you are dining with. We finished the meal off with dessert, Creme Brulee, my gf's favorite, and she felt it was up to par with her expectations. For about 50 bucks a person this is a great dining experience that is worth it. Also check out the outdoor patio with fireside seating, especially if you're just going to have a drink and an appetizer. This restaurant will most likely remain the place i think of to go for any special occasion or when my next craving for a juicy steak surfaces, Try it out! You won't be disappointed! Pros: Quality food, Quality Service, Amazing Experience Cons: N/A more
