I've heard plenty of good things about Havahart over the years. But those were back in the early nineties when the staff, even if they were one of the high schoolers who worked there, knew what they were talking about and were enthusiastic and motivated. It was for that reason that when I moved back to the area a couple of years ago that I brought my dog into be groomed at the adjacent salon. Besides getting a pretty mediocre grooming, I was talked to like I knew nothing about my pet DESPITE the fact that the HEAD GROOMERS dog was the most emaciated and sickly thing I had ever seen in all my days. I'm surprised that no one had called the humane society on that woman. It's been a couple of years since I've been there and I'd never recommend them to anyone after witnessing that.
