A typical suburban chain 5/25/2010

T.G.I. Friday's is a typical suburban chain that cares more about serving gigantic portions than high-quality, fresh food. You'll find all the typical fried bar food here, in a really generic, loud, cattle-farm-like atmosphere; chicken tenders? Check. Mozzarella sticks? Check. 1,000-calorie salads? Double check. Personally, I see no reason to go to a place like this when there is so many non-chains with interesting food in the city. The bar is decent though, and can get pretty crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are hosting out-of-towners that are picky eaters, however, T.G.I. Friday's is always a safe bet. Pros: The menu is a crowd pleaser, decent bar Cons: Nothing is fresh, or really that great more
