This hotel was a disaster. \r
The worst feature for me was the large window in the front door to each room. The curtain was a lot smaller than the window, so several times during the night, we saw people walking past. And twice, people stopped and looked into the room, straight at us in the bed. I complained to the manager who was very rude about it. He said ""It's an old hotel, what do you expect?"" Well, I expect not to have people look into my bedroom. He wouldn't do anything about the curtains, so we thumbtacked some towels onto the door.\r

Their website touted it as a ""spa"". The bathroom was a typical motel bathroom with a tiny tub. The towels were stained with yellow spots. There were no spa facilities of any kind. Their idea of spa facilities is a list of masseuses who make incalls.\r

The breakfast waitress confided to us that the ""Belgian waffles"" were really just frozen Eggos. The omelet was made with reconstituted dried eggs. \r

We moved to the Fess Parker Hotel the next day, and were much happier.\r
