Dr. Joseph caused me to experience unnecessary suffering by not considering my overall health and other medications before taking me off Effexor. Many of his methods are questionable, and his recommended plan for weening [a patient] off strong drugs such as Effexor isn't consistent with commonly accepted practice. He generally spent less than 5 minutes with me on each visit, didn't appear to listen to my concerns, and changed my medications frequently. Needless to say, I will never go back to him, and could not recommend him in good conscience.
