I am saddened to read the negative comments about Dr. McGuire and her practice. I have had completely the opposite experience in the more than seven years that she has cared for our Pomeranian. Unfortunately, our dog has had more than his share of serious health concerns. But it has given me great comfort to know that no matter when or what we were facing, Dr. McGuire would be there for us. As for false claims of being overpriced--you get what you pay for--but I also know that Dr. McGuire has cut our bills significantly at times. Not only is Dr. McGuire wonderful, but her staff are wonderful and caring as well. I don't know many practices where the staff know patients (animals and people) by first name. They honestly care about your animal and about you. When a friend of mine lost her beloved cat, the entire practice was compassionate and caring--it made a big difference to her. Don't listen to the sour grapes reviews on this site. Animal Medical Services is top notch.
