This is my local standby for Asian food. My favorite dishes are nam sod and the avocado curry. The curries and soups are generally very good. The coconut and velvet seafood soups are my favorites. The fried bananas and coconut ice cream are also not to be missed. Overall, I like their Thai dishes better than their Chinese dishes. I've also had some disappointing dishes here, too, unfortunately. The gourmet tofu was rather bland. The pad thai is steeped with salty sauce, and screams for more fresh vegetables other than the small pile of bean sprouts on the side. I was also surprised that their spring rolls are fried. (The Thai restaurants in Chicago all serve cold spring rolls in the rice wrapper.) The owners also run Pad Thai in Hudson, but Thai Gourmet seems to have better food for slightly better prices. I can't vouch for the authenticity of the food, but in my opinion this is the best Asian restaurant in the Stow/Kent/Hudson area. Pros: reasonably good food Cons: dishes are somewhat hit-or-miss more
