My best friend came to the skilled nursing section of Vosswood based upon a recommendation of her doctor at Methodist Hospital. That was our first mistake. She couldn't even turn over or shift in bed at first. Some of the staff are very caring but unfortunately they are rotated and you are left with the vast majority who couldn't give a rat's a## whether or not your loved one is care for properly. Many, many times they didn't come to her aid when she needed assistance to go to the bathroom and would then let her lie in her mess for hours until they got around to her. The person at Vosswood who worked with Medicare kept trying to get her reclassified out of rehab so she'd have to go private pay - they most definitely get paid about 4 times as much that way for no service.
Pros: Attractive facitlity but don't let looks deceive you
Cons: Absolutely no care for patients
