My wife and I decided to skip NYC for Valentines day this year and look for a 5 star hotel with dinner in a more quaint environment . My wife and I are are very picky people .We decided to do some internet searching and came across the Garden city Hotel. We felt we can check out the Americana mall (not to far from the Hotel) , do some shopping ,dinner and a room at a hotel . We decided to take a chance and we were extremely pleased .From the point I pulled up to the hotel with Valet it was an experience. The food was incredible and the service was great in the resteraunt ( I was surprised for Valentines day ) The server must have come over 10 times to make sure we did not require anything. After a delicious meal (still thinking about it) and 2 bottles of great wine suggested by our server, My wife and I walked into our hotel room that was spacious, clean with chocolates on our bed. I felt we definitely got our money's worth in terms of service and Quality . It was a great experience from A-z . No complaints here. I will Highly recommend this Hotel to anyone considering a stay there. This was a Valentines day my wife and I will never forget. I will be even writing a formal letter to management about my experience there.
