Renters beware! Management impose some ridiculous rules!
management here (at peartree apartments) will tell you (by slipping a notice under your door) that you can not use your own curtain and must close blinds; you can not leave your umbrella open on your balcony.
they will determine for you whether items on your balcony are excessive and will order you to remove them; your doormat has to be 'authorized' and you certainly can not personalize it.
