I am a member of the Durfee family. There is an unpleasant review on this site. It is old and I have asked that it be removed.but providence.citysearch has not replied to me.
I will say just a couple of things. First, the ""dinosaur"" was probably my dad who is currently 87. Second, my dad was probably trying to explain that there were some licensing issues with the University of RI and our distributor that year. There must of been some misunderstanding regarding his comments. (FYI, you can't sell something called ""URI seed"" if URI has not recieved their license fee.)
We are a family store that aims to please. If you ever have a problem with our store, please ask for Paul Durfee and we'll be happy to hear your complaints.
