My wife and I go out to eat fairly often and decided on Sushi Tango because we had been there a few weeks ago and loved it. Instead of sitting at the bar, which we did last time, we put our names in for a table and were seated within 5 minutes.
That's when things began to go downhill. Our server took well over 10 minutes to come over and introduce herself - it was not overly crowded at all. Several times she walked by without even aknowledging us. After taking our drink order, it took her another 15 minutes before she brought them over. Our appetizer took over 15 minutes as did our sushi - which did not taste fresh and was doused in a thick sauce.
My wife and I never complain about poor service and are always generous tippers no matter what, but this pushed us over the edge. We asked for the manager and she apologized profusely and gave us a 20% off coupon.
What we wanted was an intimate dinner with great service. We planned to spend a good amount of money for a long, satisfying dinner but were left vastly dissapointed.
Pros: bartenders
