Had to drill (7) 6 inch holes for ductwork in house rim joist this Dec 2010. Rented a 6 inch hole saw, which is designed to cut thru house rim joists, from HWY 55 Rental. Had told them what I was going to do beforehand. The saw was so dull that in 2 1/2 hours I had only cut thru 2 rim joists that were each 11/2 inch thick. Should of been able to cut thru each rim joist in 10 minutes. Returned the hole saw and they only would give me a credit for a future rental. Don't believe that was fair. I went out and brought a new saw to do the job.
