Chocolat Molten Cake 11/28/2010

On Friday, November 12, 2010 I went to the restaurant Chili?s Grill & Bar located at 801 S. Mill Ave. Tempe, Arizona. I have never been to Chili?s Grill & Bar before, so I wasn?t sure exactly what to expect. I was looking to try their Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream though. It?s what I have been suggested to try. When my Mom and I arrived we were immediately greeted and showed to our seats. The waiter came within less than a minute to take our drink orders, and less then five minutes later he came with our drinks. Within five minutes after our dinner order was taken, Baby-Back Ribs. About fifteen or twenty minutes later after that our meal arrived. Our meal was exceptional, it was freshly cooked, the meat sweet and tasty. Throughout the whole meal, the waiter kept our drinks refilled and kept checking back to make sure we did not need anything. After our dinner it was time to order our deserts. So we ordered Chili?s Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. After ordering our deserts it took about five minutes for our order to get to us. When it arrived, it didn?t look like I was expecting it to. I was expecting to see a cake with melted chocolate on the inside and a scoop of ice cream on the side. Instead I got a pleasant surprise. At the base of the desert is the molten chocolate cake, it was hard and crispy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. On top of the cake was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and on top of the scoop of ice cream was harden chocolate coating it. And to top it off they dribbled caramel onto it. The whole thing together was wonderful. There could have been more vanilla ice cream but other than that, it was perfect. I would suggest Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream to anyone to try. You will not regret it. more
