This company needs to be shut down. Like everyone else said, they give you unneeded procedures and take your money. My experience was in 2006 but after seeing all these reviews I decided I need to share my experience! The year before I went to this office, I went to a different dentist, had x-rays, not a single cavity. Prior to this I'd only had 1 cavity in my entire life. A year later, I went to this Carmel Plaza Dental, to be told that I had EIGHT cavities. EIGHT. I was shocked, but they had all sorts of excuses for why I could suddenly get 8 cavities without that sort of history. So, I had all eight filled, paid about $800 out of pocket to that office. I was skeptical, but didn't think a dental office would be taking advantage in that way.
After that, I was scared to go back to ANY dentist out of fear of having so many cavities again (yes, dumb) - so I didn't go for 2 years. 2 years later I went to a new dentist... after 2 years of no professional dental care... I had ZERO cavities. Despite this being so long ago, I really want to take my old xrays into my current dentist and have them tell me if there were in fact 8 cavities there.
Not to mention, the ""cavities"" they filled - the work was shoddy and I had to have several of them re-done less than 2 years later.
STAY AWAY. THIS BUSINESS NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! Do dentists have to take the hippocratic oath? If so I would imagine they are breaking it and need to have their licenses taken away.
