I recently had a dress fitted at Chesterfield's. They have an excellent tailor. The problem is they try and swindle you out of your money. I was told the alteration was going to be $100 which was overpriced in my opinion. I told them it should fit perfect. They agreed. After 2 fittings the dress was still entirely too big. The tailor agreed. At that moment one of the other employees came over and told me that taking in the back was more money, PLUS the tailor had worked a whole day on the dress so if I wanted it to fit how I want I have to pay more. WHAT? I was told to alter this dress to my satisfaction would be $100. I don't know about you guys but when I get something tailored isn't it supposed to fit in the end? I left with my big dress and smaller checking account
