Just as other reviews state, they returned less than 10% of my security deposit, citing the billing for items that were already faulty at move-in, or thinking they could get away with charging me in full for normal wear and tear (ie. entire apartment repainting after living there 2 years, floor refinishing..). I had little to no issues with them DURING my tenancy, managers were usually pretty good, maintenance generally quick to respond. \r \r Luckily I have tons of pre-move-in photos. They did no move-in walkthrough, and the move-out list was done without me present. \r \r After move-out: When called, their office treats you terribly most of the time, and some secretaries obviously screen calls if you're a repeat caller. They NEVER return calls (not once have I received a call), and often unreasonably delay email reponse or don't respond at all. Working with them to resolve the security deposit issue (they owe me over $1,000) has been agonizing. I managed to receive a partial check from them, with no itemization, letter, or anything to show how the amount was determined.\r \r They have no proper documentation of walkthroughs or maintenance receipts, which is why they simply dismiss or ignore my requests for copies of these.\r \r I'm taking them to court for the remaining balance as I'm certain they have no evidence whatsoever. I can bet that I'm not the first to do so, if these reviews have any indication of their style of service and satisfaction of their customers.\r \r DON'T RENT FROM THEM. more
