Vehicle manufacturers recommend to replace your timing belt at different mileage intervals, every vehicle has a different requirement. I am not quite sure which safety inspection you purchased but our premium package comes with a service mileage interval checklist. The checklist would tell what the manufacturer recommends or recommended to keep your vehicle maintained. Most vehicle require the valve cover to be removed in order to see the timing belt.
