We boarded our 19 year old cockatiel here for two weeks while on vacation, and we came back to find ALL of his longer wing feathers gone, and him completely unable to fly. They swore they did not clip the wings, and said ""he molted a lot because it is warm in the store"" by way of reasoning. Our vet said this is absolutely absurd. Not understanding that he was unable to fly, our bird tried and injured himself crashing to the ground. It's been three weeks since we got him back and he still cannot fly, though the vet says his feathers are slowly growing back. It is heartbreaking, and makes me absolutely furious with whatever neglect or maltreatment he suffered at the hands of this store that caused this. Don't trust your animal to them.
