I'm really not a fan of this place, but my mom insists on continuing to go here, so so does my dog. Last time we went to VCA we had to slam on the breaks at the parking lot entrance as a loose boxer dog ran out in front of our car onto 85th street in rush hour traffic. The dog had escaped under the vet's supervision. Fortunately, the dog was wrangled back in, but unfortunately the owner was not even informed of what had happened as we were there when they arrived. Also, the last time we boarded our elderly dog at VCA they completely forgot to give him his medication for an entire week. I'm truly surprised they were willing to admit that as that is not only inexcusable, but neglect and abuse. Overall bad experiences and overpriced.
