Shah is absolutely correct! Messina's offers marvelous Mediterranean cuisine served by well-trained, delightfully European, waiters, a fact that enhances the authenticity. There is an air of deference gently mixed with good cheer --- Perfect for the born-and-bred Southerner, who appreciates courtesy along with plenty of beautifully prepared food. Candles flicker softly, and the music is most romantic. Messina's is just the place for that special dinner, and the prices won't bite. We will be back often!
