My 1st experience with Indian food was at the ""Taj Mahal"" , NYC, East Village. I've been back there a couple times, but wanted to find a good Indian restaurant closer to home. Read the reviews for several places in Pittsburgh, chose the Taj Mahal. I was not disappointed. The beef curry was excellent and I had enough to take some home. I want to try the various chicken dishes, as this restaurant seems to be known for them.
