I had high hopes for this to be my tailor of choice (because they've been in business since 1979, and because they're so close to my home), but I was sadly disappointed.\r

I had lost some weight, and brought a suit in to be altered. When I got the suit back, the pants legs were still too long, the stitching was rough, and it seemed that nothing had been adjusted anywhere else.\r

The proprietor insisted that I must have taken these pants somewhere else, and showed me a fine example of his work. Even after I explained that this was the first and only tailor shop I have ever set foot in, he replied that his shop would never do such work.\r

He agreed to (re-)do the work for ~$10 (!), and said that he would press the pants for free.\r

When I got the pants back, they indeed were taken in, but it was just as unsightly as before. The edge of the pants legs was not straight, the stitching was just as rough, and they had not been pressed, as promised.\r

I am moving into a side business that requires me to wear a suit, and I'm disappointed that I can't rely on this shop.
