I was turned onto this place by a friend when I mentioned that I was looking for good german food in Dallas. Since our honeymoon that we spent in Fredericksburg, we have not had really good german food. Henk's definitely delivers. You can order something off of the simple, but tasty menu, or try the daily special. I went in hoping for nothing more than great red cabbage. I was pleasantly surprised. I got the schnitzel, a side of red cabbage, and a side of spaetzel. I could only eat about half of the portion before I was stuffed. We also made time to walk through the small market of almost exclusively german foodstuffs. I have to say, the mustard they sell there is amazing!
