I had the misfortune of buying some underwear on 7/10/09 that turned out to be the wrong size. When I went to exchange them on July 11, 2009, I was treated VERY badly. I was both embarrassed and humiliated in front of other help and other customers. The clerk that I encountered, whose name was AMBER, was either having a very bad day or she hates her job. Maybe both. She was unfriendly, dismissive, not willing to help and was uncooperative in every way. All I wanted was to exchange the undies for the right size, but I DIDN'T HAV MY SALES SLIP!!!! I have spent almost $2,000 in the last 13 monthsin this store and now I won't be going back. I also have a Fashion Bugstore Gold Card, and now it won't be used anymore. This girl insisted that I had to exchange the undies for the exact same undies in the smaller size. No problem - until it turned out that they didn't have the EXACT SAME COLOR in the size I needed of one of the pairs. She wouldn't even consider letting me just get pink pair instead of a cream pair - she said my only choices were: 1) Let them try to ORDER a pair in the cream color from their warehouse, 2) refund me the lowest selling price, or 3) I could just keep them so I would have a pair that was useless, in addition to the pair I kept and can't wear because I had put them on and found out they were too big. I love Fashion BugStore, but not enough to be humiliated and made to feel like a dishonest person. Also, in the last year I have taken back exactly ONE item because of bad workmanship, so it's not like I'm one of those constant refunders. She didn't even offer me a bag to take my undies out of the store in - she ignored me and worked on her paperwork until it must have been obvious she was going to have to do SOMETHING to get me out of there. So, until Amber is no longer working there, my clothes money will be going elsewhere. No wonder these people are in financial trouble. I'll make sure that people I have referred to Fashion BugStore hear about this - I've had LOTS of compliments on their clothes - probably 2/3 of my clothes are from there. Next time I get a compiiment, they're going to get the short version of the VERY POOR customer service I encountered there.
Pros: Love the clothes & you can usually find good stuff on sale!
