I had almost the exact same experience. My car died at a SuperAmerica on a Friday and I couldn't roll up the windows or lock it --alternator died (I hid the key on the passenger floor). I called at noon (""Not here, yet"" I was told) and then at 4:30 (""No. I don't know why we don't have it, but the towing service said it will be here soon"".) I drove down to their place at 5:10 in my wife's car and it was locked up and empty. They promised me they would call me and let me know what was gong on...
Knowing the extremely bad security conditions, I went and got it myself. Did the work myself and fixed it.
I was going to go down and harrass them about this, but they are not worth my time. They shouldn't be worth yours, either.
Cons: There is not enough space here to even begin.
