Chimney is unlike any other traditional barbecue spot in the city. Don't let the name scare you, if you are looking for amazing food, go here. Truth of the matter, it's in East Harlem, people get nervous, I know I did, but we all travel ways to eat fine meals. This is one of them.
My friends & I accidentally walked into this place. In fact, it was the only place that was decent enough to walk in to. It was the best thing we ever did.
We were skeptical at first, but the menu looked amazing. We were greeted by warm welcoming smile by one of the owners. It was nice to see young owners with pleasant, mild manner mentality.
My friends & I decided to give it try. To be safe, we ordered few appetizers to start. The shrimp & the mussels were amazing. The flavor from each dish was breath taking. Jeremy, one of the owners explained the dish to us & why and how it achieves its flavors. My friends & I were impressed w/ the freshness & flavorful but not to over powering taste. At that point we decided to have entrees.
Korean Short Ribs were amazing. It was exquisite. So much flavor, I could still taste it. The signature sushi rolls were so beautiful. At first we couldn't even eat it b/c the presentation was so nicely done. Every bite was new and inviting. I can wait to go back & try more.
Hey Guys, hurry up w/ the Cocktail Menu. If your menu is this good, I can't wait for your cocktail menu.
