We stumbled upon da Francesco, tucked away on a quaint side street on Palm Beach Island , and were blown away...The place is the essence of comfort. The staff is gorgeous, sweet, professional and knowledgeable about the fantastic menu and its simple, yet thoroughly perfect wine offerings.
da Francesco specializes in organic Italian , and when the chef brings out one of his many assorted piping hot pizzas, the bursts of fresh, delicious ingredients and flavors are overwhelming. We ordered the POSITANO PIZZA for starters (Prosciutto Wild Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzarella, Garlic) and were delighted with the perfectly prepared thin crust and mouth watering toppings...Never did I think that healthy pizza could taste this good. We followed up the pizza with a Bolognese which was better than my grandmother used to make. The penne was perfectly al dente , and we could really taste the quality of the pasta. The meat sauce , however, was phenomenal , and the real star of the dish...perfectly spiced and cooked with sabor and amore!
The night we were there , our host Matt was extremely helpful with our wine choices, it really made the evening that much more enjoyable. But kudos to Chef Seth Kirschbaum, who obviously has taken organic cooking to a new level...if you dont check out this fantastic new place, youll be missing out on something exquisite.
