I am very upset with this company for what they did. I had a ring setting of white gold and diamonds and a separate 3 ct. sapphire that I wanted to have set into the ring. They said they could do it. I left the ring and stone with them in the evening of day 1. On day 2 I received a call from the jeweler, stating that it would take a little while to set it since they needed to order a new mount (head) for the ring. That's okay with me. It is my engagement ring, and I want for it to be perfect. On day 3 I receive a phone call from their now very agitated jeweler telling me to come pickup the ring. She said that she didn't want to set if for me afterall. Okay... I dropped by that evening to retrieve my ring and stone. The stone, when I bought it was in perfect condition. It was in its own box, completely protected. A month later I took the ring and stone to a different jeweler, and they asked if I knew the stone was chipped. That was a surprise to me! There is now a huge divit on the top of my 3 ct. sapphire that was not there when I bought it! I had not taken the stone out of the box to handle myself before or after taking it to Andronikos. I can only surmise that the jeweler at Andronikos had chipped my stone and called me in a huff afterward to come get it. That's what that call on day 3 was all about. That's why she was upset when she called. Andronikos didn't even have the decency to tell me what had happened to the stone. Now my engagement ring is ruined beyond repair because of their negligence and dishonesty. I will never go there again. Further, I will recommend that others take their business elsewhere.
