So every year I try and plan my girlfriends birthday at a NY hot spot and the previous two years have been big letdowns. In the past all I did was call the venue or promoter, make a table reservation, and nothing of what was told me was true when I arrived. They upped the minimums and they would let my whole group in. This year I went with a different approach. I heard about DeluxeXP through Thrillist and wanted to give it a try and hoped it would work out better for me. I browsed through the site and after viewing all of the venues and descriptions, which were very on point I may add, I chose Marquee. After filling out the party planning form all online, I received a follow up call from Jason, one of the experience agents to follow up and make sure that all of the info i submitted was true and that he should go through with it and set it all up for me, it was unbelievable. They walked me through everything, set me up with a photographer, a tray of crumbs cupcakes, and a nice assurance that my night out for my girlfriends birthday was going to work out great. On the night of my girlfriends party everything that Deluxe told me was true. My 2 bottle table minimum was honored, and they had an experience agent meet me right outside the venue to walk my group in to our table with minimal wait. After this great experience I doubt I will ever book a night out in NYC without DeluxeXP !!!
