Highly recommended the SPCA in Hou. I have adopted 2 Chis from Hou SPCA and I have nothing but praising for their services. I went to one place on Westheimer, Hou to see a Pom after all my phone calls were not answered. I was told ,the Pom was a lost and found , so the earliest I could adopt the Pom was the next five days.I came back 2 days later with a friend and I as told the Pom was already been adopted. I called another place on West Little York for a Chi, my appointment was cancelled later in the evening and was re-scheduled for 9 am the next morning. I showed up at 8:30 am to be told the Chi was adotped by one of a staff member. At SPCA in Hou,I don't have to beg to have these little animals. I don't have to allow some stranger to come to my house in a gated community in Katy area,to check the condition of my house. If you do not want to waste your time and if you want to be treated with decency and compassion, do not go to these little grooming places for adption a pet, GO TO THE SPCA HOU.
