Food was good but not noteworthy or great. Steak was a little fatty and the beans were runny. Our waitress was ok but service was slow. The biggest complaint was the Owner of the Restaurant. We tried to redeem a Restaurant dot com gift certificate and we had it presented from the time we sat down until the time we left. The waitress said the cashier would take care of the discount. When we go up to the cashier, she showed us a little sign saying they don't accept the certificates any more but she would see what she could do. After about 5 minutes of waiting, this angry man with a horrible attitude came and belligerently told us they didn't take them any more.
We said he needed to train his servers then because she didn't tell us that. We also said he needed to let Restaurant dot com know because I had just bought the certificate. He yelled at us that he did and as of April 1st they weren't in the program any longer. We checked the website and they are still listed today, April 9th. So there is miscommunication somewhere or this guy (the owner, I found out) is lying. We told him we wouldn't be coming back because of his attitude and he just made rude comments and even cussed at us and told us ""he's getting the full amount anyways."" Sure one sum is great for the night but he lost repeated business. After reflecting on his actions, I can see why his staff isn't trained.
If you do go, don't bring any coupons or you will get treated like dirt.
