Ok, has anyone besides me looked at last months CWS bill? Did you notice that they are charging a $20 base rate and that water usage is now added on to that? When I moved here in 2005, my bill was $20/month. Now it's $53.00!!! Is there anyway to protest or escalate this to a higher authority in the State? Apparently this is how Mecklenburg County operates by screwing the honest, hard working folks while the rest of the scumbags get away with utility freebees!
