This place is so relaxed and roomy! I love the mix of ages and culture. I also love the nostalgia of this old bar that served as an escape during my brother's college years. Yes, its full of college chicks (what bar in Superior isn't!?), and some trailer trash (what bar in Superior isn't!?), and sometimes really awesome singers that are worth waiting for! I don't care what trials the owner may have gone through or what rumors people insist on focusing - I just love the experience Frankie's provides. My California husband who sings in a band and LOVES karaoke was turned onto this fun hole-in-the-wall by his Minnesota karaoke-loving brother 6 years ago and it is a traditional visit during our MN vacations. All of our friends join us at Frankie's during our annual visit and we all have a blast! Oh - and those unique Bloody Marys are the only ones I've ever liked! YUM!
