So unlike the guy in the pink hoodie I actually got treated really badly. I'm not sure if its because I am hispanic or maybe I didn't have any piercings or enough visible tattoos.......but this was the absolute worst discrimination I have experienced. I walked in 30 till 7pm yesterday wanting to get a new tat ( i already have some but it was cold so they were covered up). The girl at the counter said she was only a piercer and that the next artist wouldn't be in until 7pm. ( the other artist there was busy) So we waited......and waited......the 1st artist finished with his customer and proceeded to go outside for a smoke. He never acknowledge me or my husband or anything , came back inside and continued to ignore us. The girl came back in and said nothing and finally the other artist showed up.......ignoring us too. I let him get situated and all and thought he would come up to help us......NOPE!!!! He went outside to smoke.....along with the 1st tattoo artist and the girl was on the phone. Never did the guys ask us if we were waiting to be helped or anything......just completely ignored us and avoided eye contact. After waiting for them to come back in from smoking......which they never did we left!!!! 45 minutes .....now I know perhaps we should have said something.....but it seemed pretty apparent that they did not want to help us. Talk about a definite need of an attitude adjustment. I did get my new tattoo.....and I love it.....Atomic on MLK and the drag was AWESOME!!!!! Silver Bowen is a great artist and I will only go back to him from now on. To the guys who wouldnt help me.......May God Bless you.....
