This is not my first time trying to get through to the county jail. Your system is a joke. It is impossible to get any information . Every time I have called it tells you to press a number or to wait on the line to speak to an operator, and it never fails that you will get a busy number. What really gets to me is if it is an emergency you are ---- out of luck. I live in Redwood City and also work for the City or Redwood City and you are able to call the jail without ever being left on hold for more then a minute, you can get any information you need, and everyone is extremely friendly. Your county needs to take some pointers from out city.
