2 months ago I invested in some 236$ jeans, and ever since they had proven fragile and ripped and needed several alterations- finally, I had enough, and I went back to Macy's, prepared to potentially have a battle on my hands- I wanted a new pair of jeans, and I was a bit heated.
Up to me walked Candace- a smiling, warm sales associate, who I explained my problem to, after which she said ""oh honey, that's terrible! I'll do what I can to get you some brand new jeans!"", I assumed she was a manager because she knew a lot about all the brands of jeans, and she made it her mission to make sure I was taken care of, and read that I was a bit stressed from the get-go. Candace managed to be quick, informed, and professional- while still being extremely personable and fun.
I've had poor experiences with Macy's before- but this more than makes up for it, and I wish every business I walked into had a staff that worked so hard and were so pleasant!
Pros: Great experience this time- in and out quickly
Cons: Alterations take weeks, understaffed, slightly inconvenient
