This is an Excellent Mexican Restuarant and not your usual Mex-Tex

My wife and I made our very first vist to this restuarant and enjoyed the visit. We decided to visit for the lunch period to avoid the crowds and parking problems that friends told me was common during the evening hours. A young lady met us and guided up toward a back room. We told her we did not want to be sitted in the bar area nor in the patio area and preferred a booth. We were giving a booth in what they called J area.
A young man named James was our waiter and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were glad because we found this was not our usual Mex-Tex restuarant. He brought us chips (too thin but tasty) and a green looking salsa. My wife asked for ranch dressing instead but I was game. The waiter informed me that I could try more than one salsa since they have four kinds. I tried two and both were good and spicy. Neither anything like I get a El Chico or Pancho's. He had to give us some advice about about our entrees also. I am glad he was so helpful. My wife got both the cheese enchallas and a relleno, both were excellent except the relleno was a little overcooked on the bottom. I had the chicken encellas(pardon my spelling) and it was superb. The waiter was very attentive although the room was soon filled to capacity. His efforts were rewarded when it came time to pay with a very good tip added. He earned it. We enjoyed this meal.
Pros: DECOR, SERVICE
Cons: PARKING, CROWDS
