When I moved to the area, I went here for a cleaning, and Dr. Smiley (the male) told me I needed over $700 worth of fillings. He determined that in about, oh, 2 minutes of looking at my teeth. I was devastated because I try to take very good care of my teeth and couldn't understand why I had that many cavities. I called my former dentist for a second opinion, since I was a little bit skeptical and confused. I went in to see my former dentist and he told me I didn't need any of the work that Dr. Smiley recommended. I was pretty shocked, but so glad because it saved me hundreds of dollars.\r
This year, I went to Dr. Hrstic and had a much better experience. Her office has state of the art equipment as well as the latest technology to tell if you need fillings or not. She and her staff were honest with me about what work they thought I needed, and made me feel comfortable, unlike Dr. Smiley.\r
Two of my friends also went to Dr. Smiley for cleanings and had similar experiences. The bottom line is that he will tell you that you need much more work than you actually need, and he is scamming you. You should be able to trust your dentist, but Dr. Smiley is not an honest person. His behavior is shameful, and a disgrace to his profession.
Cons: tells you that you need much more work than you actually need - scam
