Spent the first 40 years of my life in New York City. Moved here in 2003. Not only would Pizzarito be perfectly at home on any corner in Manhattan, Brooklyn or the Bronx, it is the only pizza in Los Angeles that I will eat. Every single person I have brought there or recommended it to has raved about it. This place makes all the ""NY Pizza"" places in LA seem like frozen overthought imitation. If you want a REAL slice, good and simple, you should check this place out. Also, the Sicilian is as good as any I've ever had - anywhere.
