I have been on the look out for a bakery that sells real homemade baked goods. It seems like most coffee shop/bakeries these days sell only packaged baked goods. Anyway I stoped at An Xuyen this morning and I was not disappointed. It is in a kinf of sketchy parking lot right off Hwy 99 on the south side of the airport. It is a wholesale/retail bakery so you can see the baking supplies in the back and the big racks of breads and pasteries, but it also had a nice retail counter with a big, pretty case. I had a blueberry cream cheese thing (1.25) and a cup of coffee for 1 dollar. They only had powdered creamer ): but supplied milk when I asked. I will gladly return to this bakery, I think my problem will be keeping myself from stopping everyday as it is right on my way to work.
Pros: Great pasteries! Reasonable prices!
Cons: powdered creamer for the coffee
