This assistant branch manager randomly emailed me regarding a permanent, salaried position after finding my resume on an employment website. At first I thought her email was spam since it contained poor grammar and a misspelling, but no.
After I contacted her, she arranged a phone interview for me with the client, but would not tell me many specifics about the company - later I'd find out why.
After the phone interview went well, she then informed me that not only did they want to interview me the day after next - bright and early in the morning an hour and a half away, let's say around 9:30 a.m.- but that I'd have to first drive to her offices (30 minutes away from the interview site), to be there two hours before the interview at 7:30 a.m. so she could interview me.
