I have been going to Indian style restaurants for years with my family. I stumbled upon Shalimar about a year ago through one of my co-workers and we have made it our choice of lunch spots ever since.
The service is incredible from the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out. Combine that with the variety of food selection at an affordable price and you have a winner already. To top it all off, the atmosphere makes you forget that you are in the heart of the University District.
I advise going during lunch to take advantage of their Penny Pincher menu. Have a good meal!
