Not your uncle's Mexican restaurant

I have not had a bad or even an ordinary meal here.in the many years I have eaten there. First, it really isn't a Mexican restaurant, it is a Tex-Mex or New Mexican restaurant, so please don't compare it to the many many usual Mexican restaurants. Second, both vegan and red meat dishes are equally good and thoughtful foods, well prepared and well spiced, not just hot; third, the service is as uniformly warm and generous as is the food. There is often a wait to get a table, but then there is no rush from the wait people. It is an alive and colorful place, but a good place to have a conversation.
Pros: Unique in Northwest - Fourth Corner
Cons: small size relative to its clientele
