We had a Sunday afternoon jam-packed of chores. Having driven by Hugh & Jeff's Car Wash & Grill sign many times, we decided we could accomplish 3 things in one-stop, saving ourselves time & energy. We would get the car washed & get lunch, and as a bonus watch a bit of the game that we were missing while getting chores finished.
Instead we spent $20 (the most expensive car wash we've been to in the Bay area yet) and 1 hour to have the outside only of our Tahoe washed. And there was NO GRILL OR FOOD inside! We could've had the car washed cheaper and faster elsewhere if there is no grill to go along with it. What a waste of our time and money.
If there actually was a grill, it could be a great concept, but the delivery at the moment is a horrid business model: stand around drinking beer until you can get back in your washed car. Good revenue base for the city I guess, if they need it & enough stagger out after waiting so long for the car wash.
