The root beer is delicious as are the microbrews. I like the syrupy shot you get when you drin k the root beer too quickly from your straw. Have had the iceberg salad wedge with bacon - very good. And the creole pasta is good too. Right now it's Octoberfest and they have a German menu including 2 soft pretzels as an appetizer with special mustards. One of these days I will make it to dessert. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and we end up picking up on conversations from the last time we were at Gordon Biersch. Also a great place to catch a game. Flat screen tvs everywhere.
