OK...I have had many a wedding cake in my day and I have to say HANDS DOWN that this is by far the best cake I have ever had. The first time I experienced one of these masterpieces was at my best friend's wedding. As soon as the bride and groom cut into this 6-tiered tower it was gone in a matter of minutes! I've never seen anything like it! So naturally when it came time to get a cake for my wedding I went straight to DD. Leland (the owner) brought me samples of cake and they were all amazing but I have 3 words for you...CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE CAKE. Do it. It is so worth the money. Any other wedding cake by comparison is just wrong.
The only con (for some) may be that Leland (the owner) doesn't really work with fondant. She really only likes to work with buttercream. However, her cakes are so beautiful and so good though it makes the idea of fondant obsolete.
Bottom line...if you want a wedding cake that TASTES INCREDIBLE go to Dessert Designs!
Pros: Customer service, design, TASTE
Cons: Fondant not really an option
